Castles in the Air
“Castles in the Air” begins as a sculptural exploration of tension—between weight and suspension, permanence and illusion.
Metal, mineral surfaces, and mirror are brought into dialogue, each element recalibrated to challenge its own nature. What appears fluid is anchored; what feels ephemeral reveals structure. The work shifts with light and perspective, extending beyond its physical boundary.
From this origin, a broader language emerges.
The same principles translate into spatial environments across land and sea, where material and reflection are composed to expand perception. This approach finds further precision within aviation, where constraint refines the idea into its most distilled form.
“Castles in the Air” moves beyond metaphor.
It becomes a method—an evolving framework for constructing spaces that exist between reality and perception.
